Analyze datasets and data products for Elsevier, supporting scientific research platforms with data preparation, algorithm evaluation, governance, and stakeholder insights. Work with Data Scientists and Product Owners across the Research Data Platform.

- Support Data Scientists and Product Owners across the Research Data Platform.
- Analyze large datasets to answer questions from Product Owners and Data Scientists.
- Prepare data at scale to test hypotheses and support prototypes.
- Evaluate data science algorithms’ precision and recall at scale, presenting results as dashboard metrics.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Data Scientists and Product Managers.
- Coordinate work with Data Scientists and Product Managers.
- Share achievements and project updates with stakeholders in writing and in presentations.
- Clarify task requirements.
- Identify, collect, prepare, and refine data.
- Interpret large datasets.
- Communicate findings to stakeholders through clear data storytelling.
- Develop recommendations and requirements.
- Find and pursue new opportunities.
आवश्यकताएँ
- At least three years of work experience.
- Coding ability in at least one programming language, preferably Python, and SQL.
- Familiarity with common string manipulation functions, including regular expressions (regex).
- Experience with Pandas, Apache Spark or Databricks, Snowflake SQL, and Collibra for data analysis, governance, and metadata management.
- Knowledge of basic statistics used in data science, including precision, recall, and F-score.
- Strong English proficiency.
- Tableau or Power BI experience is a plus.
- Experience using Agile tools such as JIRA is a plus.
