Controller (California Remote)
Lead global accounting, billing, treasury, and financial controls for Sensiba LLP’s professional services organization. Manage a 13-person team supporting entities in the United States, Australia, and Ireland.

- Direct accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, treasury, and financial reporting for U.S. and international subsidiaries
- Manage month-end and year-end financial close activities
- Maintain consistent accounting policies, reporting standards, and controls across entities
- Coordinate statutory reporting and regulatory compliance with local accounting, tax, and professional advisors
- Strengthen accounting processes, workflows, systems, and internal controls
- Automate manual work through technology, including AI tools
- Manage international treasury, cash, foreign-currency transactions, intercompany funding, and banking relationships
- Collaborate with the CFO on global treasury, liquidity, and growth planning
- Unify billing practices across audit, tax, and consulting services
- Create operating metrics and dashboards for accounting activities
- Lead and mentor approximately 13 accounting professionals, including two direct reports
- Set clear expectations, accountability measures, and development opportunities for the team
- Support the implementation and optimization of financial systems and technology
- Work with FP&A on budgets, forecasts, cash flow, and financial planning
- Support mergers and acquisitions, integration work, and strategic initiatives
- Enhance financial infrastructure to support sustained growth
आवश्यकताएँ
- Experience managing accounting operations across multiple legal entities, ideally in international jurisdictions
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, accounting principles, internal controls, and close procedures
- Professional services experience is strongly preferred
- Proven ability to improve processes, implement technology, and automate repetitive work
- Working knowledge of international accounting and reporting, including foreign-currency translation and intercompany transactions
- Experience managing international treasury, foreign-currency exposure, cash, and cross-border banking
- Familiarity with accounting and regulatory requirements in Australia and Ireland is a plus
- Experience using financial systems and accounting technology, including ERP and workflow automation platforms
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- High attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to combine strategic judgment with careful execution
- Commitment to continuous improvement and curiosity about finance operations
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- At least 8 years of progressive accounting experience, including substantial Controller-level or comparable leadership experience
