Tavsif

  • Design and develop scalable data platforms.
  • Own architectural decisions and platform outcomes.
  • Develop Databricks platforms with Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, and governance practices.
  • Orchestrate workflows and establish effective code and deployment structures.
  • Build and maintain pipelines from data ingestion through consumption.
  • Create data solutions with Python, SQL, and cloud platforms.
  • Provide technical leadership while aligning technology choices with business needs.
  • Review colleagues’ work, share knowledge, and strengthen team capabilities.
  • Partner directly with clients to deliver practical value from data platforms.
  • Candidates new to Databricks complete a supported seven-month programme covering certifications, client projects, and internal knowledge sharing, with transition to a permanent contract after agreed milestones.

Talablar

  • Experience leading or significantly contributing to data platforms from initial concept through delivery.
  • A strong record of owning outcomes and making architectural decisions.
  • Deep knowledge of Databricks, including Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, governance, Workflows, code organization, and deployments.
  • Professional experience with Python and SQL.
  • Knowledge of data modelling and data pipeline development.
  • Experience with Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Experience building ETL or ELT pipelines and cloud-based data solutions.
  • Ability to define an approach, architecture, and initial steps from broad or unclear objectives.
  • Pragmatic judgment balanced with a commitment to quality.
  • Ability to develop colleagues through reviews, feedback, and technical discussion.
  • Ability to influence technical and business decisions and communicate trade-offs clearly.
  • Databricks certifications are advantageous.
  • Databricks Champion status is advantageous.
