  • Sell products, services, and solutions to new and existing customers through inbound and outbound communications
  • Build and manage trusted relationships with assigned customers and accounts
  • Present Avnet offerings and solutions to customers
  • Identify sales opportunities aligned with market and brand solutions
  • Support account revenue and profit objectives through customer and financial sales metrics
  • Provide solutions and uncover opportunities that strengthen the customer experience
  • Handle sales inquiries from prospective and existing customers
  • Provide timely and accurate responses to customer information requests
  • Track and follow up on sales activities from initial contact through order fulfillment
  • Grow existing accounts through responsive service and strong customer knowledge
  • Align sales activity and strategy with product, materials, field sales, and supplier teams
  • Share current product information and provide pricing, quotes, and solution guidance
  • Coordinate customer needs related to inventory, delivery timelines, and unit pricing
  • Complete additional duties as assigned

Talablar

  • At least five years of relevant experience is typically required
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Expert understanding of customer needs, products, and complex business services
  • Ability to identify qualified new customers for Avnet’s increasingly complex account portfolio
  • Willingness to occasionally travel to customer sites or training, including overnight trips
  • Advanced proficiency with SAP, ERP, and order management systems
  • Strong Excel skills, including problem solving, formulas, analysis, formatting, and data manipulation
  • Proficiency with QuoteFX, SupplierWin, PowerPoint, and WebEx
