Director of Data, Analytics and AI
Lead data, analytics and AI strategy for Veralto’s Environmental Business. Build governed data systems and production AI that support commercial, finance, operations and supply-chain decisions.
Tavsif
- Set data, analytics and AI strategy and roadmaps for the Environmental Business across Ott and Kipp & Zonen.
- Review existing architecture, platforms, pipelines, reporting and active initiatives, then define a scalable future state.
- Develop a secure, sustainable data ecosystem that connects ERP, CRM, finance, supply-chain and service data.
- Set governance for data ownership, definitions, quality, access, privacy, security and compliance.
- Standardize key measures and improve self-service BI, dashboards, scorecards and decision-ready analytics.
- Find valuable AI and automation opportunities and bring selected solutions into production.
- Support responsible AI adoption through license governance, user education, adoption measures, controls and ROI tracking.
- Coach and coordinate internal staff and contractors, and help design and build the future team.
- Work with senior business and functional leaders to align priorities, increase adoption and deliver measurable value.
- Assess technology vendors and platforms for capability, scalability and cost.
- Report to the Vice President of IT.
Talablar
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, data science, business analytics, information systems or a related field; a master’s degree is preferred.
- At least 10 years of progressive data and analytics experience, including 5 or more years leading teams or enterprise capabilities.
- Demonstrated success building or substantially improving enterprise data, analytics or AI capabilities with measurable business results.
- Practical experience taking AI/ML or analytics solutions beyond pilots and into production.
- Strong understanding of modern data architecture, cloud warehouses or lakehouses, ETL/ELT, APIs, BI and the AI/ML lifecycle.
- Experience with major cloud and data platforms, such as AWS, Azure, GCP, Databricks, Snowflake, Power BI or Tableau.
- Experience integrating and harmonizing data across ERP, CRM, finance, supply chain and other business systems.
- Strong executive communication and stakeholder influence, with a focus on business value.
- Experience in manufacturing, industrial, scientific instrumentation, FMCG or another product-based environment.
- Experience setting data governance, standardizing enterprise measures, and improving data quality and pipelines.
- Experience assessing data, AI and automation investments using structured build-versus-buy and ROI frameworks.
- Knowledge of global privacy and compliance frameworks, including GDPR and CCPA.
- Experience working across multiple businesses, geographies, ERP environments and matrixed stakeholder groups.
