ASPCA Senior Manager, Business Development (Hybrid - New York)

Lead corporate partnership development for the ASPCA’s animal welfare mission. Build proposals, secure partners, and expand workplace giving initiatives.

Tavsif

  • Support the Director of Business Development in delivering the new-business strategy and achieving annual revenue targets
  • Research prospects and uncover partnership opportunities across consumer goods, technology, healthcare, financial services, food, and emerging industries
  • Create tailored partnership proposals, presentations, pitch decks, and sponsorship concepts
  • Develop and manage prospective corporate relationships through outreach, meetings, follow-up, and stewardship
  • Keep the prospect and opportunity pipeline current in Salesforce, Airtable, and related tracking systems
  • Track trends in corporate philanthropy, cause marketing, employee engagement, and corporate social responsibility
  • Assess and rank promising partnership opportunities with the Director of Business Development
  • Represent the ASPCA at networking events, conferences, and industry gatherings
  • Assist with partnership negotiations and new-contract development
  • Oversee selected corporate partnerships from launch through activation, reporting, and renewal
  • Act as the primary day-to-day contact for assigned corporate partners
  • Coordinate internal teams to deliver partnership commitments on schedule
  • Manage partnership recaps, impact reports, and stewardship materials
  • Direct creative approvals, content reviews, and campaign execution
  • Find opportunities to grow, renew, and deepen partner engagement
  • Help implement and expand the ASPCA’s Private Workplace Giving strategy
  • Create employee engagement initiatives, fundraising campaigns, and activation resources
  • Lead employer-facing toolkits, presentations, resources, and marketing materials
  • Measure program participation, engagement, and revenue performance
  • Maintain partnership records and opportunity data in Salesforce, Box, Airtable, and other systems
  • Contribute to revenue forecasts, pipeline reports, departmental planning, internal communications, leadership presentations, and strategic planning materials
  • Handle incoming corporate inquiries and partnership requests

Talablar

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience is required
  • At least five years of experience in corporate partnerships, business development, account management, fundraising, marketing, or a related field is required
  • Demonstrated experience cultivating and managing external relationships is required
  • Experience creating partnership proposals and presentations is required
  • Project management experience is required
  • Experience producing materials or presentations for external audiences is required
  • English proficiency is required
  • Experience measuring and tracking data is strongly preferred
  • Nonprofit experience is preferred
  • Strong preference for experience with Salesforce, Airtable, Canva, Microsoft Suite, and Box
  • Solid knowledge of cause marketing principles and corporate partnership models
  • Advanced awareness of business and social media platforms, performance metrics, and emerging partnership trends
  • Strong project management and organizational capabilities
  • Excellent writing, verbal communication, and presentation skills
  • Strong relationship development and networking skills
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting
