AI Software Engineer, Generative AI — Allianz, Hong Kong
Build full-stack generative AI applications for Allianz Global Investors, from early prototypes to production platforms. Work with asset management teams to shape and deliver practical AI solutions.
Tavsif
- Create and deploy full-stack generative AI applications for selected asset management needs.
- Connect frontend and backend components to build reliable, scalable systems.
- Apply company policies and procedures to the AI solutions managed by the team.
- Work with domain experts and cross-functional colleagues to translate business needs into technical requirements.
- Develop ideas and solutions collaboratively with engineering teams.
- Build prototypes to evaluate technology readiness and fit for specific uses.
- Move successful prototypes into production applications and platforms.
- Offer technical direction to the development team as needed.
- Track and share industry developments to support AllianzGI innovation and business transformation.
Talablar
- Degree or equivalent qualification in computer science, information systems, engineering, data science, or a related discipline.
- At least three years of full-stack application development experience, including delivery of production applications.
- Industry experience in investment banking or asset management is preferred.
- At least two years of industry experience developing generative AI applications, including deploying and supporting them in production.
- At least three years of experience working in agile teams.
- Proficiency in Python and relevant generative AI libraries and frameworks, such as FastAPI, LangChain, and Microsoft Agent Framework or Semantic Kernel.
- Detailed knowledge and hands-on experience with large language models, agentic AI, multi-agent system design, retrieval-augmented generation architecture, embedding methods, prompt engineering, and Model Context Protocol.
- Experience with LLM operations and assessing the quality and reliability of generative AI outputs.
- Experience using AI-assisted software development tools, including coding agents.
- Experience with modern web frameworks and languages such as React, TypeScript, and Node.js, and with building and maintaining frontend and backend applications.
- Experience with production-grade vector databases such as Azure AI Search, MongoDB, Cosmos DB, pgvector, Chroma, or Milvus.
- Experience with relational databases such as SQL Server, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
- Experience with agile development and DevOps practices using tools such as Harness, GitHub, JFrog, Jira, and Datadog.
- Ability to write unit and integration tests with common frameworks such as pytest and Playwright.
- Microsoft Copilot AI skills.
- Databricks experience is an advantage.
- Experience with container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes, and Azure cloud-native services, is preferred.
- Knowledge of component-based architecture, state management, and intuitive user experience principles is preferred.
