Senior Backend Engineer (Python/Go) – Ho Chi Minh City Hybrid

Build distributed backend and graph-data systems for a SaaS cybersecurity company using Python and Go. You’ll develop high-throughput pipelines and AI-ready infrastructure in Ho Chi Minh City.

Descriere

  • Design and deliver large-scale distributed backend services and graph-based data models
  • Build high-throughput, low-latency ingestion and processing pipelines with Python and Go
  • Lead major features from technical design through production deployment
  • Work with product and security research teams to deliver scalable capabilities
  • Anticipate production risks and create observable, resilient systems that protect customers from disruption
  • Participate in architecture reviews, code reviews, and technical engineering discussions
  • Help shape an AI-focused engineering culture and develop systems ready for AI workloads
  • Apply AI development tools thoughtfully while strengthening infrastructure reliability and AI readiness

Cerințe

  • Bring at least 7 years of software engineering experience, including substantial backend development
  • Demonstrate strong proficiency in Python and/or Go
  • Have designed, built, and operated production distributed systems involving replication, partitioning, backpressure, and idempotency
  • Have worked with graph data and databases such as Neo4j, JanusGraph, Neptune, TigerGraph, or comparable technologies
  • Understand storage and streaming technologies including PostgreSQL, NoSQL databases, S3, Kafka, and Redis
  • Have designed APIs and backend services for high-traffic, multi-tenant environments
  • Be familiar with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP
  • Communicate effectively in design discussions and produce clear technical documentation
  • Apply secure coding practices covering secrets management, access control, and sensitive-data handling throughout the development lifecycle
  • Protect source code, technical documentation, and customer data while following information security policies in a remote-work environment
  • Work with QA, IT, and ISRM teams to remediate vulnerabilities, manage security risks, and assist with incident investigations when needed
  • Communicate proficiently in English
  • Use AI-powered developer tools comfortably and assess their generated output critically
  • Understand core AI and machine learning concepts including LLMs, embeddings, vector databases, retrieval, inference, and evaluation
  • Be comfortable creating AI-ready data infrastructure such as knowledge graphs, RAG pipelines, feature stores, or vector indexes
  • Support reliability, observability, and performance in AI-powered systems
