Descriere

  • Drive outside sales for electrical and controls engineering and project management services.
  • Sell repair solutions and new equipment to end users, contractors, OEMs, and engineering firms.
  • Own territory-wide sales, expanding existing accounts and developing new customers toward a $50 million annual sales target.
  • Conduct direct selling and business development to achieve or surpass assigned goals.
  • Create the sales strategy for the engineering and controls business.
  • Contribute to estimates, proposals, and customer presentations.
  • Visit assigned accounts regularly to strengthen strategic relationships and uncover changes or opportunities.
  • Keep industry and technical expertise current with market needs.
  • Represent sales at road shows, national conferences, trade shows, training sessions, trade organizations, and related events.
  • Guide customer accounts from the sales process through purchase orders, terms and conditions, and ongoing relationships.
  • Conduct job walks and serve as the primary link between sales and production when qualifying opportunities.
  • Support lunch-and-learn events and lead customer conversations.
  • Partner with Customer Service to improve the customer purchasing experience.
  • Manage a team of four business development managers.
  • Travel domestically throughout the United States approximately 50% of the time.

Cerințe

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent experience selling industrial services in engineering consulting, project management services, or a related field.
  • Experience with PLC, DCS, SCADA, and HMI automation and control systems; industrial networks; low- and medium-voltage systems; electrical construction work packages; commissioning and start-up; and power systems, including arc-flash and coordination work.
  • At least three years of experience in a related industry.
  • Demonstrated energy, goal orientation, teamwork, communication, forecasting, and solution-selling ability.
  • Industry knowledge in agri-food, power generation, oil and gas, mining, or petrochemical sectors is preferred.
  • Sales or production experience involving construction, outages, or project management is preferred.
  • Consultative engineering experience.
  • Detailed engineering and design experience.
  • Experience with NERC program management and testing services.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint, plus willingness to travel domestically 50% of the time.
