Remote Accountant, Bank Accounting and Payment Processing

Descriere

  • Run AP, payroll, and travel-expense payments through bank portals and the ERP.
  • Review and approve payment orders under the internal four-eyes control process.
  • Coordinate monthly payroll processing with HR and the external payroll provider.
  • Record payroll journal entries in NetSuite.
  • Oversee corporate cards and Navan travel-expense reporting.
  • Reconcile bank accounts against NetSuite every day.
  • Investigate and clear unresolved bank-reconciliation items.
  • Record and allocate bank transactions, including foreign-currency activity.
  • Keep bank-account and payee master data accurate and up to date.
  • Contribute to the design and rollout of banking processes.
  • Assist with banking-system changes and implementations.
  • Create and maintain process documentation and work instructions.
  • Handle bank inquiries and maintain related account documentation.
  • Coordinate with banks on questions, clarifications, and technical problems.
  • Contribute to monthly cash reporting and liquidity reviews.

Cerințe

  • Completed vocational training as a bank clerk, tax clerk, accountant, or in a comparable commercial field.
  • At least five years of accounting experience, particularly in payment processing, bank accounting, or financial accounting.
  • Proficiency with bank portals, including EBICS and online-banking platforms, as well as ERP systems.
  • Payroll processing or payroll-posting experience is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of recording foreign-currency transactions is desirable.
  • Experience contributing to the design or implementation of financial processes.
  • Reliable, precise, and attentive to detail.
  • Structured, process-focused approach to work.
  • Proactive attitude and motivation to improve and shape processes.
  • Able to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Strong communication skills for collaboration with HR, accounts payable, and external banks.
  • Excellent German language skills are required.
  • English proficiency at least at B1 level for work in an international setting.
