IT Business Partner – UK Remote
Mears Group is seeking an IT Business Partner to connect technical teams with business users across the UK. The role covers requirements, project delivery, stakeholder change, testing, and implementation.
Descriere
- Bridge communication between technical teams and non-technical business users
- Clarify business requirements and help ensure solutions are implemented accurately
- Coordinate IT workstreams from initial concept through project delivery
- Act as the primary relationship contact for stakeholders during technology-led change
- Create, track, and update project plans as delivery progresses
- Ensure IT initiatives support broader business objectives
- Gather, define, and document system requirements and enhancements
- Coordinate user acceptance testing and obtain stakeholder approval
- Prepare documented handovers and process guidance for business-as-usual teams
- Contribute to IT project delivery and wider business change programmes
- Collaborate with technical, operational, and stakeholder groups to deliver fit-for-purpose solutions
Cerințe
- Proven experience delivering projects from initiation through completion
- Able to discuss technical concepts with developers and explain them clearly to business users
- Strong communicator who can build and maintain internal and external relationships
- Working knowledge of SQL and process-mapping tools such as Visio
- Logical, analytical, and detail-focused working style
- Self-directed, well organised, and able to manage competing priorities

- Must have the right to work in the UK

- Successful completion of background, identity, security clearance, and BPSS checks is required
- Provide relevant identification, including proof of address, references, a valid passport, and evidence of having lived in the UK for the past five years
- A full UK driving licence is preferred but not required
- To drive a Mears vehicle, applicants must be over 21, have held their licence for more than three months, and have fewer than nine points
