Head of Finance, Multi-Entity Ecommerce, Remote in Mexico
Lead finance operations across US and international ecommerce entities. Manage QuickBooks, payouts, forecasts, dashboards, and partner distributions in a remote role.
Descriere
- Manage accounting records for all US and international entities in QuickBooks Online, maintaining accurate entity and class structures and completing monthly reconciliations.
- Oversee the accounting assistant’s work on categorization, receipts, invoices, and reconciliations, including quality assurance.
- Coordinate contractor, partner, and distribution payouts with accurate amounts, timing, recipients, and supporting documentation.
- Monitor ownership allocations and distributions so partners have clear records of amounts owed and the reasons behind them.
- Create dashboards tracking cash, revenue, costs, and margins by entity and across the portfolio.
- Develop financial projections and cash flow forecasts to support timely business decisions.
- Deliver monthly performance updates to partners covering growth, leakage, and recommended actions.
- Evaluate costs, subscriptions, and vendor spending while collaborating with the team on optimization.
- Establish finance operations for each new company, including bank accounts, QuickBooks files, and accounting structures.
Cerințe
- Bring 2–3 or more years of accounting or finance experience, ideally managing the books for a multi-entity business with eight-figure revenue or more.
- Demonstrate expert knowledge of QuickBooks Online, including classes, multiple entities, and consolidated reporting.
- Work confidently across US and international entities and currencies; US tax knowledge is advantageous but not required.
- Ecommerce experience is helpful but not essential, particularly familiarity with Shopify payouts, Stripe, advertising spend, and contractor payments.
- Hold a CPA, CA, ACCA, or equivalent qualification, strongly preferred.
- Use AI effectively to accelerate financial models, dashboards, and workflows while protecting confidential financial data.
- Be available during core working hours and communicate effectively in an asynchronous environment.
- Provide references from founders or owners whose books you have managed, if available.
