Descriere

  • Collaborate with engineering, research, program management, and product teams to deliver AI-powered products.
  • Lead the design, development, testing, deployment, and support of AI software components.
  • Oversee foundation model training, large language model inference, similarity search, guardrails, evaluation, experimentation, governance, and observability.
  • Guide build-versus-buy decisions involving open-source and SaaS AI technologies.
  • Create foundation model optimization methods that improve scalability, cost efficiency, latency, and throughput.
  • Help define the technical direction and long-term roadmap for foundational AI systems.
  • Recruit, retain, and develop high-performing AI talent.
  • Convert enterprise AI strategy into executable portfolio plans.
  • Expand AI engineering practices through shared infrastructure, reusable components, and unified governance and observability frameworks.
  • Set enterprise Responsible AI standards covering fairness metrics, evaluation protocols, documentation, and audit readiness.
  • Work with research, compliance, and enterprise risk partners to address ethical and regulatory standards.

Cerințe

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, AI, electrical engineering, computer engineering, or a related field with at least 8 years of AI or machine learning development experience, or a relevant master’s degree with at least 6 years of experience.
  • At least 3 years of experience leading people.
  • At least 5 years of experience managing and directing an engineering team.
  • At least 7 years of experience deploying scalable, responsible AI solutions on cloud platforms.
  • Experience developing AI and machine learning algorithms or technologies with Python, C++, C#, Java, CUDA, or Golang.
  • Experience building agentic AI systems and workflows.
  • Experience building and leading multi-team AI organizations delivering several enterprise products or capabilities at the same time.
  • Experience implementing long-term AI platform strategies aligned with enterprise priorities and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience establishing cross-functional operating rhythms and review cadences, including OKRs, AI governance councils, and quarterly reviews.
  • Experience sizing models, instance counts, and hardware types to meet technical requirements.
