Descriere

  • Contribute to nationwide complex design-build projects as a core member of the project team
  • Lead the team through design development
  • Own design deliverables throughout the design process
  • Direct an integrated design-build team and coordinate with clients, designers, and trade partners
  • Deliver quality design within budget and schedule
  • Ensure designs meet contractual commitments and program requirements
  • Facilitate stakeholder decision sessions, progress reviews, and design conferences
  • Coordinate design reviews and drive resolution of all comments
  • Work closely with the cost manager, purchasing agent, and key project stakeholders
  • Resolve design issues as they arise
  • Support bid submissions and prepare RFP and RFQ responses
  • Inform pursuit strategy with strategic insight
  • Travel occasionally to different locations, including active construction sites
  • Monitor and respond to after-hours communications when required for business needs, urgent matters, or emergencies

Cerințe

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, or a related field
  • Four to eight years of relevant experience, preferably in design-build
  • Relevant experience may include work as a development manager, design manager, project manager, or design professional
  • Experience managing project staff is preferred
  • Strong interest in general contracting and design-build delivery
  • Understanding of how to deliver successful design-build projects
  • Basic familiarity with BIM modeling
  • AutoCAD and Revit working knowledge is a plus
  • Membership in DBIA or another industry association is preferred
  • Strong grasp of design and cost management principles and practices
  • Clear understanding of integrated design and construction schedules
  • Understanding of architecture firms’ business models, design principles, and processes
  • Ability to lead collaborative design work with diverse stakeholders
  • Ability to train, manage, and influence multiple direct reports
  • Ability to motivate and collaborate with peers at other firms
  • Ability to work with and present to executive leaders
  • Ability to contribute to design-build project pursuits
  • Self-directed, organized team player able to prioritize work in a fast-paced setting
  • Ability to build and sustain a collaborative, creative work environment and influence others
  • Ability to regularly lift and move objects up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds
  • Flexibility to work extended hours during critical project phases or client deadlines
  • Ability to monitor and respond to calls, emails, and texts about urgent matters or emergencies
  • Pre-employment fitness-for-duty drug screening is required
  • Compliance with random quarterly fitness-for-duty drug testing is required
  • Must follow Clark Construction safety policies and procedures and applicable laws at all locations
