  • Resolve hardware, software, and network problems for on-site and remote users.
  • Install, configure, and update computers, software, networks, printers, and scanners.
  • Configure and maintain VoIP phones and headsets.
  • Support employees across the company in person and by phone.
  • Create user accounts and help resolve password and login issues.
  • Assess new technology for potential company use.
  • Train staff to use technology safely and correctly.
  • Protect the security and privacy of networks and computer systems.
  • Prepare and present reports on system usage and malfunctions to management.
  • Work with internet providers and hardware vendors to address technical issues.
  • Help document IT assets and maintain inventory records.
  • Support the rollout and administration of virtual access software and endpoints.

Prasības

  • Experience as an IT technician or in a comparable role.
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities.
  • Thorough knowledge of computer systems, networks, and a range of technology products.
  • Ability to handle several projects and tasks at once and meet deadlines.
  • Familiarity with internet security and data privacy principles.
  • IT technician certification is an advantage, such as CompTIA A+ or Microsoft Certified IT Professional.
  • An associate or bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Careful, detail-focused approach and critical thinking skills.
  • Patience and ability to work under pressure.
  • Flexibility and readiness to learn new technologies.
