  • Lead and deliver technical solutions for the art team
  • Establish quality standards and mentor junior Technical Artists
  • Coordinate with internal teams to implement and manage in-house and outsourced assets
  • Advance high-end visual features that strengthen the game design
  • Prototype and create graphics features requiring advanced technical expertise
  • Improve content-creation methods and workflows for greater efficiency and quality
  • Partner with Art, Engineering, and Production to address dependencies and requirements
  • Help the Art team diagnose tools and game-related issues
  • Improve runtime performance and reduce memory consumption

Reikalavimai

  • Deep knowledge of content-creation pipelines spanning modeling, UV mapping, texturing, shading, lighting, effects, rigging, and animation
  • Hands-on experience with contemporary game content-creation workflows
  • Track record as a Technical Artist on shipped AAA games
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving ability, with capacity to work independently
  • Broad digital art expertise across modeling, shading, lighting, and visual effects
  • Advanced knowledge of Unreal Engine technologies, including materials and Blueprints
  • Strong command of linear algebra and calculus
  • Understanding of real-time physically based materials and rendering (PBR)
  • Experience with the Substance tools and/or Houdini
  • Knowledge of lower-level programming languages such as C++
  • Understanding of shader languages including HLSL or GLSL
  • Extensive scripting experience for DCC tools, using languages such as Python or C#
