U.S. Bank Assistant Vice President, Business Services Governance and Operations
Lead governance and controls for U.S. Bank’s broker-dealer Operations, covering reporting, audits, and operational resilience. Coordinate procedures, risk remediation, business continuity, and governance for senior management.

- Develop, maintain, review, and certify Operations procedures, desktop guides, governance standards, and related documentation
- Coordinate requests, evidence, walkthroughs, action tracking, and remediation governance for audits, regulatory examinations, compliance reviews, and risk assessments
- Administer recurring controls and governance processes, including access certifications, attestations, periodic reviews, and evidence retention
- Create and improve management reports, dashboards, metrics, KRIs/KPIs, and governance materials for Broker-Dealer Operations
- Support business continuity and operational resilience through plan maintenance, test coordination, dependency mapping, and issue follow-up
- Coordinate operations for confirmations and statements, invoices, vendor or service attestations, and other centralized business services
- Maintain inventories, calendars, ownership matrices, action logs, and governance trackers
- Work with pillar leaders to identify control gaps, inconsistent practices, aging issues, and opportunities to standardize or automate processes
- Support new business and change initiatives by preparing procedures, controls, reporting, access, governance, and operational documentation for production
- Prepare concise materials for senior management and governance forums, translating operational detail into clear risks, decisions, and actions
- Coordinate across Operations, Risk, Compliance, Audit, Technology, Finance, and other business partners

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
- At least four years of experience in broker-dealer or capital markets operations, business management, governance, controls, audit, risk, or a related financial services function
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage recurring deliverables, stakeholders, and deadlines
- Experience preparing management reports, procedures, governance documentation, or audit and control evidence
- Strong written communication, analytical, and presentation skills
- Experience in a registered broker-dealer, institutional capital markets, or securities operations environment
- Knowledge of operational risk and control frameworks, audit and examination support, business continuity, access governance, and issue remediation
- Experience building dashboards or management information with Excel, PowerPoint, BI or reporting tools, or similar platforms
- Ability to synthesize complex operational information for senior leaders and governance committees
- Continuous improvement mindset and experience standardizing processes or implementing workflow automation
- Ability to comply with U.S. Bank policies and procedures, including its Code of Ethics and Business Conduct and related workplace conduct and safety policies
