  • Set the BI roadmap around business priorities and KPIs.
  • Standardize metrics and reporting to create a trusted source of business figures.
  • Choose which dashboards, semantic models, and reports to build, purchase, or retire.
  • Oversee executive dashboards, operational reports, and self-service analytics.
  • Turn business questions into analysis, recommendations, and data narratives for senior leaders.
  • Keep reports accurate, timely, documented, and easy to use.
  • Identify and pilot GenAI applications such as natural-language queries, automated commentary, anomaly explanations, and report summaries.
  • Assess AI capabilities in BI platforms and LLM tools, run proofs of concept, and expand successful solutions.
  • Establish responsible AI safeguards covering data privacy, accuracy checks, and human review.
  • Train analysts and business users to work with AI-assisted reporting.
  • Recruit, coach, and develop analysts and BI developers; set goals and conduct performance reviews.
  • Manage the team backlog and deliver work to deadline and quality expectations.
  • Promote curiosity, data literacy, and continuous improvement.
  • Act as the primary contact for business leaders on reporting and analytics needs.
  • Partner with data engineering on data models, pipelines, and quality.
  • Apply data governance, access controls, definitions, lineage, and compliance requirements.

Талаптар

  • Bachelor's degree in data science, statistics, computer science, engineering, business, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 7 years in BI, analytics, or reporting, including 2 or more years leading or managing a team.
  • Practical expertise with at least one major BI platform: Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or Qlik.
  • Experience in data modeling and dashboard design.
  • Strong SQL skills.
  • Sound understanding of data warehousing, including star schemas, ETL/ELT, and semantic layers.
  • Track record of creating and delivering executive reports and analytics that informed business decisions.
  • Working knowledge of GenAI and LLM uses in reporting and analytics, with practical exposure through a pilot, project, or tool adoption.
  • Ability to explain complex data to nontechnical executives.
  • A master's degree or MBA is preferred.
  • Familiarity with AI capabilities in BI tools or LLM APIs for reporting is preferred.
  • Familiarity with prompt design, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and assessing AI output quality is preferred.
  • Experience with cloud data platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, Azure Synapse, or Microsoft Fabric is preferred.
  • Python or R skills for analysis and automation are preferred.
  • Knowledge of data governance, privacy, and responsible AI practices is preferred.
  • Relevant credentials are preferred, such as Microsoft PL-300, Tableau Certified, or a cloud data certification.
  • Leadership, business acumen, data storytelling, stakeholder management, an innovation mindset, and rigor.
