Transformation Success Engineer - Sydney, Australia

Palo Alto Networks is seeking a Transformation Success Engineer to move enterprise security environments onto its platforms. The role leads technical migrations, adoption workshops, training, and value-realization activities across Australia and New Zealand.

Description

  • Migrate customer environments from legacy technologies to modern security platforms.
  • Manage policy translation, retention settings, API integrations, and log-ingestion checks using Palo Alto Networks Golden Standard templates.
  • Facilitate practitioner-oriented Day in the Life workshops that encourage effective platform adoption.
  • Train customer teams on platform-native workflows, alert handling, incident response, Agentic-AI capabilities, and automated playbooks.
  • Provide both individual instruction and cohort-based enablement.
  • Conduct structured Value Realization meetings with technical customer stakeholders.
  • Apply native platform dashboards to illustrate return on investment, security effectiveness, and operational gains.
  • Obtain formal project acceptance while supporting customer satisfaction.
  • Manage the complete customer transition lifecycle within the Global Transformation Practice.

Requirements

  • Professional-level technical expertise in security operations infrastructure, cloud migration, or technical consulting.
  • Practical experience with Palo Alto Networks products such as Cortex XDR/XSIAM, Prisma Cloud, or Strata, or with comparable competitive migrations.
  • Strong foundation in security automation technologies.
  • Experience using CLI scripting, Python, and REST APIs for bulk policy configuration and data modeling.
  • Highly effective communication skills for customer-facing technical work.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead technical workshops and engage confidently with executive stakeholders.
  • An approach to scale centered on artificial intelligence and automation.
  • Ability to create reusable playbook designs and produce technical documentation.
