Lead the local TRIOS Software project team in Skopje
Manage 11 TRIOS team members based in Skopje
Report to the Head of Scanning Applications and secondarily to the General Manager of 3Shape Macedonia
Lead, coach, mentor, and develop software engineers and technical specialists
Foster trust, accountability, inclusion, and continuous learning across the team
Conduct performance reviews, career conversations, and coaching sessions
Create individual development and succession plans
Support employee engagement, motivation, wellbeing, retention, and career progression
Address organizational challenges and remove barriers to team performance
Contribute to resource planning and capacity management
Match team capabilities to business and product requirements
Strengthen engineering practices, team processes, and collaboration models
Coordinate with Product Management, Architecture, Quality Assurance, and Engineering leadership
Support the planning and delivery of software development initiatives
Track priorities, delivery commitments, risks, and dependencies
Maintain stakeholder alignment and clear communication about team commitments
Contribute to technical discussions, technology assessments, and engineering improvement efforts
Partner with architects and technical leaders on long-term technical direction

Requirements

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related technical field
At least eight years of professional software development experience
At least five years of people management experience within software engineering organizations
Demonstrated success leading and developing engineering teams
Experience with hiring, coaching, talent development, succession planning, and performance management
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Working knowledge of software architecture, engineering principles, and modern development practices
Technical credibility with the ability to contribute constructively to technical discussions
Professional fluency in English
