Senior UI Designer (Hybrid, Sweden)

Design and implement player-focused interfaces for Snowprint Studios’ games using wireframes, playtesting, and Unity UI Toolkit. Collaborate with designers, developers, artists, and other disciplines to shape consistent, effective game experiences.

Description

  • Create interfaces for new game features and systems
  • Develop wireframes, mockups, and interaction patterns
  • Build and implement designs in Unity with UI Toolkit
  • Conduct regular playtests to assess interface quality
  • Use feedback to refine the player experience
  • Work with game designers, client developers, artists, and other team members across planning, development, and testing
  • Define practical UI standards and efficient workflows
  • Support visual and interaction consistency throughout the game
  • Help guide UI direction while balancing design principles with production constraints

Requirements

  • Professional experience designing game interfaces, including mobile and touch-based UI
  • Experience contributing to at least one free-to-play, midcore, turn-based strategy, live-operated, or external-IP game
  • Hands-on experience implementing UI in Unity
  • UI Toolkit experience is an advantage
  • Proficiency with Figma, Google Suite, and Adobe Suite
  • Experience using version-control tools such as GitHub
  • Working knowledge of practical UI/UX design and mobile-game patterns and best practices
  • Ability to balance design principles with player, product, technical, and production requirements
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Willingness to exchange feedback, ask questions, and discuss ideas openly
  • Ability to take ownership while working collaboratively
  • Applications must be submitted in English
