Senior SQL Developer - India Remote
Senior SQL Developer responsible for maintaining large-scale SQL Server applications and databases. Diagnose performance, security, and reporting issues that support critical customer operations.
Description
- Maintain and improve custom .NET and SQL Server applications using current Microsoft .NET technologies.
- Develop data stores and queries for Microsoft Reporting Services.
- Investigate performance, capacity, and data security problems.
- Work collaboratively and advise business team members on how database changes affect their operations.
- Create stored procedures, views, DDL, and triggers to support development work.
- Contribute to code-based solutions built with C# and .NET when needed.
- Handle additional responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements
- At least six years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server technologies.
- Hands-on experience troubleshooting and tuning SQL query performance.
- Proficiency in developing complex stored procedures, triggers, and views.
- Knowledge of SSRS, SSIS, and SSAS is an advantage.
- Experience with or knowledge of Microsoft technologies including Visual Studio, C#.NET, and WCF is an advantage.
- Strong understanding of systems and business application development.
- Familiarity with project management concepts and practices.
- Ability to assess complex applications and systems and develop programs with minimal interfaces.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability, including evaluating how programming changes affect existing systems.
- Sound judgment when identifying programming issues and recommending solutions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for documenting and presenting programming plans and procedures.
- Ability to work effectively with people at all levels of the company.
- Good knowledge of Power BI and SSRS.
