Senior Risk Analyst, São Paulo (Hybrid)
Senior risk analyst strengthening governance at Creditas, a Brazilian platform for credit, insurance, and investments. Leads diagnostics, KRIs, risk matrices, and executive reporting.
Description
- Advance the maturity of Creditas’s risk management function.
- Complete a diagnostic review and critical assessment within the first 90 days.
- Establish the risk methodology, KRIs, and governance forums within one year.
- Identify, evaluate, and monitor the company’s principal risks.
- Assess processes, material changes, and new products.
- Lead risk assessments with business teams by examining causes, impacts, controls, and mitigation plans.
- Maintain and improve the risk matrix and KRIs with current, decision-ready information.
- Monitor action plans and risk events while evaluating the effectiveness of implemented measures.
- Develop executive reports and materials for leadership and governance forums.
Requirements
- Practical risk management experience spanning identification, assessment, risk matrices, KRIs, and reporting.
- Ability to analyze end-to-end processes and rigorously evaluate mitigation plans.
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to create materials for executive audiences.
- Prior experience in financial institutions, fintech companies, or regulated environments such as SCDs.
- Working knowledge of frameworks including COSO ERM or ISO 31000.
- A constructive challenger who questions assumptions and uncovers structural weaknesses.
- An action-oriented approach, with autonomy and strong execution during diagnostics and action-plan implementation.
- Clear and concise communication when translating complex topics for leaders and business teams.
- Problem-solving, ownership, and collaboration skills, with the critical thinking to separate facts from assumptions, lead analyses independently, and influence teams positively.
