Senior MuleSoft Integration Engineer Remote Canada

Lead MuleSoft integrations, APIs, and ETL/ELT workflows for an enterprise learning platform transformation. Connect learning, HR, identity, and reporting systems through scalable integration solutions.

Description

  • Design, develop, test, and support end-to-end integrations on MuleSoft Anypoint Platform
  • Build and maintain Mule 4.x services, flows, connectors, and reusable integration components
  • Create APIs and integration services with RAML 1.0, REST, SOAP, XML, and JSON
  • Implement ETL/ELT workflows for moving, transforming, validating, and orchestrating data across systems
  • Develop reliable data transformations with DataWeave 2.0 and associated mapping logic
  • Connect Cornerstone Galaxy with upstream and downstream enterprise applications, including legacy learning systems
  • Convert business requirements into scalable integration and data-movement solutions with technical leads and architects
  • Support deployments, release management, CI/CD pipelines, and promotion across environments
  • Investigate interface failures, data problems, and API defects, then perform root-cause analysis and deliver fixes
  • Keep API, mapping, transformation, and support-process documentation current
  • Work with QA, data engineering, and platform teams to support solution quality and delivery readiness
  • Provide clear progress updates within a geographically distributed delivery team

Requirements

  • At least 7 years of experience in software development or integration engineering
  • Strong practical experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform
  • Advanced experience with Mule 4.x and DataWeave 2.0
  • Proven ability to design and deliver APIs with RAML 1.0 and API-led connectivity
  • Extensive background in ETL/ELT, data movement, and transformation workflows
  • Strong command of REST, SOAP, XML, JSON, and web services
  • Experience with CI/CD, release management, and Agile delivery practices
  • Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Familiarity with learning platforms, HR systems, or talent technology ecosystems
  • Experience integrating Salesforce, identity platforms, or enterprise reporting tools
  • Knowledge of reusable MuleSoft design patterns and integration frameworks
  • Experience using Python for scripting, automation, or integration support utilities
  • Hands-on experience with GitHub Copilot or Claude for developer productivity
  • Background working in a global, distributed delivery model
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced delivery environment
  • Comfort participating in online meetings and communicating clear updates across distributed teams
