Description
- Collaborate with product engineers and designers to improve acquisition, activation, retention, monetization, and customer experience
- Work with Marketing, Finance, and Operations to identify growth opportunities and strengthen business decisions
- Promote experimentation and decision frameworks that support rapid product launches and confident iteration
- Define ideal customer profiles and success metrics to focus teams on measurable outcomes
- Apply statistical analysis, forecasting, causal inference, and machine learning to evaluate user behavior and business performance
- Analyze user journeys, lifecycle behavior, conversion funnels, and financial results to uncover high-impact opportunities
- Provide data-led guidance on impact, trade-offs, and return on investment for team and company priorities
- Create dashboards, models, and self-service tools that improve visibility into growth and business performance
- Work with the Data team to maintain a consistent and shared data layer
- Encourage experimentation, curiosity, and evidence-based decision-making across the organization
Requirements
- At least 8 years of experience in data science, growth analytics, experimentation, or a related discipline within high-growth environments
- Advanced SQL and Python skills
- Strong knowledge of experimentation, causal inference, statistical analysis, forecasting, and ideal customer profile design
- Strong product and business judgment, with the ability to connect user behavior to business results
- Experience partnering across functions including Marketing, Finance, Operations, or Product
- Ability to work independently and lead ambiguous initiatives from concept through delivery
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence decisions through clear, data-backed reasoning
- Proven ability to manage and complete multiple projects with meticulous attention to detail
- Curious, proactive, and comfortable moving quickly in changing environments
- Strong knowledge of dashboarding and data visualization tools
- Willingness to learn and develop in a fast-paced setting
- Experience in a startup or high-growth consumer business
- Experience with PostHog, Statsig, or Amplitude
- Experience with dbt, Snowflake, and modern data platforms
- Experience with lifecycle marketing, customer segmentation, or growth modeling
- Current Shakepay customer status or familiarity with the product
- Interest in and enthusiasm for Bitcoin and non-sovereign money
- Fluent English is required
