Description

  • Build cross-browser web extensions with React, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS
  • Integrate front-end applications with REST-based back-end microservices
  • Work with product management, UX, and engineering teams in a Scrum environment
  • Analyze requirements, recommend technical approaches, and help shape application architecture
  • Apply coding standards and engineering practices across linting, testing, and documentation
  • Diagnose and resolve complex issues across development and production environments
  • Lead initiatives to improve application performance and efficiency
  • Support junior and mid-level engineers through reviews, mentoring, and pair programming
  • Create technical documentation and share knowledge across the organization
  • Track front-end technology developments, industry practices, and emerging tools
  • Help advance the team’s technology stack and development workflows

Requirements

  • Demonstrate expert proficiency with React and its ecosystem, including React Query, Hooks, and Context
  • Bring strong JavaScript ES6+ and TypeScript knowledge
  • Understand HTML5 and CSS3 deeply, including responsive design, ARIA accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility
  • Experience building or maintaining Chrome, Firefox, or other browser extensions is highly valued
  • Understand REST back-end integration
  • Apply design patterns and SOLID principles
  • Experience with C#/.NET is helpful but not required
  • Have strong knowledge of Webpack, Vite, Babel, npm or Yarn, and CI/CD pipelines
  • Use unit, integration, and end-to-end testing effectively
  • Work proficiently with version control systems
  • Bring strong design capabilities and full software development lifecycle experience
  • Solve problems effectively and troubleshoot complex issues
  • Work independently with minimal supervision
  • Communicate and collaborate effectively with globally distributed colleagues
  • Read and understand unfamiliar existing code quickly
  • Knowledge of web security principles and best practices is desired
  • Experience with Azure DevOps and Azure DevOps pipelines is helpful
  • Experience with YAML is helpful
  • Must not require any form of U.S. work authorization now or in the future
