Remote Business Analyst at CIEE

Business Analyst supporting agile software delivery at CIEE, a nonprofit focused on study abroad and intercultural exchange. The role translates business needs into requirements, dashboards, testing plans, and process improvements.

Description

  • Participate actively in agile teams using the Scrum framework
  • Collaborate closely with engineering teams and stakeholders across business units
  • Help convert roadmap features into epics and user stories
  • Develop and maintain clear business requirements documentation
  • Build reports, dashboards, and metrics that demonstrate results
  • Partner with Product Managers on planning, refinement, and prioritization
  • Test and document systems, software, and services
  • Find ways to improve efficiency and performance across systems, services, and work practices
  • Assist with software application design, development, documentation, training, testing, and maintenance
  • Enhance the business processes and systems used to market to, acquire, and support CIEE participants

Requirements

  • At least three years of relevant professional experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to summarize and present complex information to people at every level of the business
  • A curious approach to understanding how systems and processes work and why they work that way
  • An analytical approach combined with strong problem-solving abilities
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Demonstrated experience analyzing and interpreting data
  • At least two years of experience working with Salesforce
  • Experience in international education or exchange is preferred
  • Willingness to continue developing yourself, the client group, and the company

  • Successful completion of background, reference, education, and employment checks as a condition of employment
