Senior Fleet Support Systems Engineer — Latin America Remote

Support Glacier’s recycling robots and edge devices across Latin America by diagnosing operational issues and improving fleet performance. Develop tools that help field service teams resolve problems faster.

Description

  • Respond to automated alerts and issues reported by customers
  • Act as the field service team’s primary software point of contact and recommend solutions
  • Investigate root causes and resolve problems whenever possible
  • Monitor and optimize deployed-device performance to increase robot impact
  • Assist with deploying new devices across the expanding fleet
  • Create tools that help field service teams address more issues and reduce response times
  • Coordinate with robotics and operations teams based in the United States
  • Partner with product, engineering, field operations, and customer success teams

Requirements

  • At least three years of experience working on hardware or robotics products or projects
  • At least three years of professional experience with Python, Ubuntu/Linux, and Git
  • At least two years of experience using the command line with local and remote systems
  • Fluent English proficiency at B2 level or higher
  • Located in South America or Latin America
  • Experience debugging networking issues
  • Experience with embedded programming
  • Experience with ElasticSearch
  • Experience with React
  • Experience with Django
  • Experience with Structured Text
  • Experience working with US companies or clients is a plus
