Senior DevOps Engineer (Remote, Belarus)
Join Commit as a Senior DevOps Engineer building secure, reliable cloud infrastructure for CI/CD pipelines and production services. You will automate deployments, manage containers and infrastructure as code, and strengthen monitoring and platform reliability.
Description
- Design, build, and operate secure, scalable, highly available infrastructure
- Automate CI/CD workflows and oversee staging and production deployments
- Use Kubernetes, Docker, and Helm to manage containerized workloads
- Develop and maintain infrastructure as code with Terraform and Terragrunt
- Implement and operate monitoring and logging with Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK/OpenSearch
- Partner with engineering teams to improve platform reliability, performance, and scalability
- Apply security controls and established DevOps and cloud infrastructure practices
Requirements
- At least six years of professional DevOps experience in production environments
- Strong foundations in Linux administration and networking
- Demonstrated experience with managed cloud services, preferably AWS or GCP
- Advanced working knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm
- Practical experience with Terraform, Terragrunt, and other infrastructure-as-code workflows
- Experience with CI/CD platforms, preferably GitHub Actions and self-hosted runners
- Strong shell scripting ability plus basic Python or Go experience
- Working knowledge of security principles and industry best practices
- Clear communication skills and the ability to work independently
