Description

  • Architect enterprise Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops environments.
  • Design and manage Citrix DaaS and Citrix Cloud solutions.
  • Design Citrix Delivery Controllers, StoreFront, and associated components.
  • Develop high-availability, disaster-recovery, and business-continuity solutions.
  • Lead Citrix upgrades, migrations, and modernization programs.
  • Conduct capacity planning, performance tuning, and complex infrastructure troubleshooting.
  • Establish Citrix architecture standards and recommended practices.
  • Architect and deploy enterprise-scale Azure Virtual Desktop environments.
  • Design AVD host pools, session hosts, application groups, workspaces, and pooled or personal desktops.
  • Implement FSLogix Profile Containers and profile-storage architectures.
  • Lead Citrix-to-AVD migrations, including roadmaps, migration waves, cutovers, and rollback plans.
  • Create AVD image-management, scaling, and capacity-management strategies.
  • Improve AVD performance, availability, user experience, and cost efficiency.
  • Implement AVD security, monitoring, high availability, and disaster recovery.
  • Design secure, scalable, and highly available Azure infrastructure for Citrix and AVD workloads.
  • Define Azure networking, connectivity, governance, and security requirements.
  • Plan Azure capacity, size infrastructure, and optimize costs.
  • Design secure connectivity between on-premises environments and Azure.
  • Implement network segmentation, security controls, Azure RBAC, and least-privilege access.
  • Automate Citrix and AVD administration with PowerShell and Nerdio.
  • Develop scripts for health checks, provisioning, management, troubleshooting, and reporting.
  • Monitor platform health, availability, user sessions, applications, and Azure utilization across Citrix and AVD.
  • Build health checks, operational dashboards, proactive monitoring, and automated remediation.
  • Design high-availability architectures, backup and recovery solutions, RPO/RTO requirements, and disaster-recovery tests.
  • Produce HLD and LLD documents, architecture diagrams, and supporting technical documentation.
  • Lead technical workshops with customers and stakeholders.
  • Convert business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
  • Provide technical direction and mentorship to Citrix, AVD, and Azure engineering teams.
  • Review technical designs and implementation plans.
  • Contribute to architecture reviews and technology assessments.
  • Support RFP, RFI, and technical presales activities as needed.

Requirements

  • 12–15 years of experience in IT infrastructure, EUC, or VDI.
  • Advanced expertise with Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops.
  • Advanced expertise with Azure Virtual Desktop.
  • Hands-on experience with Nerdio Manager for Enterprise is required.
  • Strong knowledge of Azure infrastructure and architecture.
  • Experience with Citrix Cloud and Citrix DaaS.
  • Strong knowledge of FSLogix.
  • Strong knowledge of Citrix ADC and NetScaler.
  • Experience with Citrix Gateway and StoreFront.
  • Strong knowledge of Azure networking and security.
  • Strong PowerShell scripting and automation skills.
  • Experience designing high-availability and disaster-recovery solutions.
  • Demonstrated leadership of Citrix-to-AVD migration programs.
  • Strong troubleshooting and performance-optimization capabilities.
  • Strong architecture and technical-leadership skills.
  • Experience with ControlUp.
  • Experience with Terraform and infrastructure as code.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD.
  • Experience with Azure Site Recovery.

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related discipline.
