Description
- Own the analysis, design, development, and support of major real-time big data projects.
- Design, build, and maintain ETL workflows, data integrations, and data pipelines.
- Enable reliable processing of very large data volumes.
- Develop optimized, high-performance services for processing, storing, and analyzing large datasets.
- Create data validation and quality controls aligned with business requirements.
- Diagnose live production systems and resolve issues promptly.
- Evaluate and introduce technologies suited to current and future projects.
- Review code, champion engineering best practices, and deliver resilient big data solutions.
- Advance data-informed decision-making and support organizational growth.
Requirements
- Demonstrated expertise with big data technologies including Spark, Kafka, Nifi, ClickHouse, and big data storage systems.
- Strong knowledge of schema design approaches and data modeling.
- Advanced SQL skills for extracting large datasets, plus familiarity with SQL databases.
- Object-oriented programming experience, preferably with Python and/or Java.
- Substantial experience with cloud computing and/or distributed systems.
