Description

  • Assess emerging developments from hyperscalers, leading AI laboratories, academia, and venture-backed companies.
  • Perform hands-on technical evaluations, benchmarking, and proof-of-concept work.
  • Lead end-to-end delivery of AI systems across infrastructure, frontier large language models, agentic and multi-agent applications, and physical AI pipelines.
  • Build functioning systems that demonstrate practical results.
  • Integrate emerging AI technologies into complex customer environments, including cloud, hybrid, edge, and disconnected settings.
  • Apply production-level rigor while maintaining the pace of innovation.
  • Provide daily technical direction to engineers and researchers.
  • Lead design reviews and inform architectural choices.
  • Strengthen the technical standards of the Applied Research team.
  • Turn prototype insights into reusable frameworks, reference architectures, accelerators, and technical artifacts that scale across programs and business units.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience in deep technical engineering.
  • Experience designing, building, and managing advanced AI systems.
  • Experience developing AI prototypes, products, or high-visibility technical demonstrations.
  • Experience leading technical discussions and evaluations with commercial partners and executive stakeholders.
  • Experience translating research into scalable, revenue-generating solutions.
  • Experience guiding research and development initiatives from concept through implementation.
  • Ability to develop and execute technical roadmaps aligned with organizational goals.
  • Demonstrated creativity, intellectual curiosity, and enthusiasm for presenting innovative AI capabilities.
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Experience taking AI systems from prototype to enterprise-grade production environments.
  • Experience leading multidisciplinary engineering or research teams.
  • Experience building or advising AI-focused businesses, including monetization and go-to-market strategy.
  • Experience leading innovation programs, incubators, or research and development portfolios.
  • Experience with cloud-native AI infrastructure, MLOps, or large-scale model deployment.
  • Experience serving as an AI thought leader through technical keynotes, conferences, or public forums.
  • Ability to engage and influence senior executives, commercial partners, and external stakeholders.
  • Record of published AI, machine learning, or emerging-technology research, patents, or conference presentations.
  • Established network within the AI research or engineering community.
  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, AI, or a related technical field preferred.
  • Doctorate in Computer Science, Engineering, AI, or a related technical field is a plus.
  • Must follow the candidate AI usage policy during interviews unless explicitly permitted otherwise.
  • Must complete identity verification and appear on camera during interviews and assessments.
