Senior Advanced Project Engineer - Aerospace Power Systems

Lead advanced aerospace engineering programs involving propulsion and power systems at Honeywell Aerospace Technologies. Coordinate technical delivery, cross-functional execution, and process improvement for commercial and defense aviation.

Description

  • Manage advanced aerospace engineering projects from initial concept through completion while meeting schedule, budget, and quality objectives.
  • Partner with design, manufacturing, quality, and other multidisciplinary teams to address complex technical challenges and improve system performance.
  • Advance continuous-improvement programs and apply engineering best practices to strengthen project delivery and engineering processes.
  • Guide a team of engineers toward successful execution and high-quality technical outcomes.
  • Support the development and deployment of aerospace power systems for commercial and defense customers.

Requirements

  • At least six years of advanced project engineering experience in aerospace or a related field.
  • Deep knowledge of auxiliary power units and systems engineering.
  • Proficiency with project management tools and engineering software used for aerospace system design and analysis.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and deliver complex technical projects.
  • Experience developing and testing aerospace power systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with an emphasis on innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical information clearly to varied stakeholders.
  • Comfort working collaboratively in a fast-paced, changing environment.
  • Must be a U.S. Person: a U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, protected U.S. asylum or refugee status holder, or someone able to obtain export authorization.
