Senior AD/ADAS System Requirements Engineer

Lead vehicle-level and software requirements for Woven Planet’s autonomous-driving systems. Translate system needs into subsystem requirements, data criteria, latency models, and measurable product performance.

Description

  • Work with stakeholders to establish vehicle-level system requirements
  • Break down vehicle requirements across software subsystems including Sensors, Planner, Perception, MAP, and HMI
  • Own data-driven requirements by identifying required data types and selecting suitable datasets
  • Develop system-latency targets through scenario-based analysis
  • Establish product criteria covering functional behavior and performance
  • Partner with AD/ADAS stakeholders and multidisciplinary design teams
  • Provide updates to the system design team manager
  • Work from the office three days per week under the hybrid work policy

Requirements

  • At least three years of professional experience, ideally in automotive systems development
  • Experience converting user- or product-level requirements into an architecture and allocating them appropriately
  • Experience deriving, tracing, and validating automotive application requirements through the V-model
  • Professional working proficiency in English
  • Experience using Japanese in a comparable team, with JLPT N2 or equivalent proficiency
  • Background in complex automotive systems development, preferably involving AD/ADAS
  • Ability to translate system requirements into software requirements and define system behavior
  • Ability to investigate and manage requirements for data-driven systems
  • Demonstrated leadership and cross-disciplinary collaboration capabilities
