Description

  • Complete Marsh Risk’s two-year Early Career Program
  • Gain practical experience on an account team serving a defined business group
  • Support client retention, new business development, and daily account services as a Client Relationship Associate
  • Provide product expertise on risk and insurance coverage as an Account Associate
  • Engage with clients and insurance markets
  • Work with Account Executives and Brokers on strategies and marketing plans
  • Assess insurance quotes and compare coverage options
  • Negotiate coverage and terms with underwriters
  • Create and enhance benchmarking reports
  • Build and manage relationships with clients and global insurance markets
  • Develop presentations for clients and prospective clients
  • Prepare and deliver internal and external renewal strategy documents
  • Contribute to complex projects with senior colleagues
  • Expand your professional network across the organization
  • Work with peer and senior mentors
  • Attend client meetings while developing broad business knowledge

Requirements

  • Pursuing a bachelor’s degree and graduating in December 2026 or Spring 2027
  • Studying business, finance, risk management, insurance, analytics, economics, mathematics, liberal arts, or a related discipline
  • Strong organizational skills and careful attention to detail
  • Able to manage several responsibilities effectively
  • Experience working with varied stakeholders and developing constructive relationships
  • Clear communication skills across different audiences
  • Legally authorized to work in Canada
  • A client- or customer-focused approach
  • Able to collaborate with a team while independently owning assigned responsibilities
  • Intellectually curious, with an interest in and basic understanding of risk management and insurance
  • Evidence of leadership or initiative in school, work, or the community
