Project Support Controller – Bahrain (Hybrid)

Support project controls, scheduling, finance, and documentation for SRT Marine Systems’ maritime technology projects in Bahrain. Coordinate implementation in Indonesia while working with UK-based project teams.

Description

  • Deliver project controls through consistent processes, governance, methods, and guidance for the in-country project team
  • Optimize schedules, resolve scheduling conflicts, and develop and maintain project plans
  • Identify and monitor project dependencies
  • Track project progress and prepare status reports
  • Handle daily accounting activities and produce financial forecasts
  • Compile financial and management reports, dashboards, tracking records, and performance analyses
  • Assist with project audits
  • Help ensure compliance with contractual obligations, including milestones and payment applications
  • Maintain project records, including action, issue, and risk logs and documentation control checklists
  • Create purchase orders for project spending and monitor them through financial reporting
  • Build effective working relationships with project colleagues, internal stakeholders, and delivery partners
  • Contribute to project processes, methodologies, tools, templates, and systems
  • Provide further administrative assistance as requested by the General Manager and PMO Manager
  • Report to the General Manager and assist the broader Projects support team in the UK
  • Help deliver efficient SRT project implementation in Indonesia

Requirements

  • Professional fluency in spoken and written English
  • Degree-level education or a relevant professional qualification
  • At least two years of experience in a comparable role
  • Experience in a construction or civil engineering setting
  • Advanced proficiency with MS Project, SharePoint, and Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of ERP systems, finance and controlling processes, and related tools
  • Strong communication and stakeholder-influencing skills across internal and external audiences
