Principal SAP Delivery Architect - Remote, United States
Lead SAP delivery architecture across concurrent enterprise transformations for Tessera Labs’ AI-native platform. Shape solution direction, customer adoption, product feedback, and evidence-based delivery staffing.
Description
- Set functional and architectural direction across multiple concurrent customer engagements
- Coordinate functional, technical, and data delivery workstreams
- Convert customer business outcomes into actionable platform solutions
- Establish measurable, documented success criteria owned by customers
- Collaborate with Forward Deployed Engineers, Tessera AI agents, customer architects, and Technical Program Managers
- Participate in early customer and partner discussions to shape opportunities before scoping
- Share field insights and domain expertise with Product to strengthen the Tessera platform
- Own the definition, measurement, and reporting of customer platform adoption
- Diagnose and address process, capability, trust, and product gaps that limit adoption
- Develop customer advocates who support continued platform usage
- Assess engagement staffing requirements and provide evidence-based workforce recommendations
- Contribute staffing insights to Center of Excellence capacity planning
Requirements
- Own solution design through enterprise sales cycles, covering scope, delivery approach, effort, and risk
- Demonstrated success coordinating functional, technical, and data teams across several concurrent engagements
- Senior client-facing experience with customer architects, business owners, and finance stakeholders
- Track record of increasing customer adoption after go-live
- At least 12 years of enterprise transformation experience grounded in SAP and spanning multiple process areas
- Sound judgment across finance, supply chain, and order management
- Technical architecture expertise in integration patterns, data architecture, and SAP landscapes
- Ability to evaluate and substantiate engagement staffing levels with evidence
- Capacity to rapidly learn a new platform and become proficient with Tessera
- Strong spoken and written business English with effective presentation skills
- Experience working in distributed delivery environments with structured daily overlap with US-based stakeholders
- Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline or equivalent practical experience
- Preferred: experience with multiple enterprise suites, SAP S/4HANA transition paths, AI, automation or RPA tools, pre-sales or solution advisory, SAP Activate, Portuguese or Spanish; German is a plus
