Description

  • Develop, troubleshoot, and maintain dependable, high-performance real-time mapping solutions.
  • Support real-time image processing at the edge in field environments.
  • Create and deploy front-end features, REST-based backend services, and database schemas across TerraClear’s application stack.
  • Collaborate with Product Management and Software Engineering to assess application requirements and interface designs.
  • Keep applications aligned with major third-party dependency updates and modern implementation practices.
  • Use Agile processes to prioritize work and deliver technical milestones on schedule.

Requirements

  • At least one year of relevant professional experience, preferably developing commercial products.
  • A BS or MS in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Understanding of core computer science principles.
  • Familiarity with using generative AI tools to accelerate the design, development, and debugging of production-quality software.
  • Knowledge of REST-based backend services.
  • Working knowledge of Node.js, Angular or React, and TypeScript.
  • Understanding of MVC architecture.
  • Strong communication skills, a positive approach, and the ability to contribute effectively as part of a team.
  • Willingness to travel to field offices and testing locations.
  • Knowledge of the Linux operating system.
  • Professional experience with relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL.
  • Exposure to AWS services including Lambda, API Gateway, and SQS.
  • Experience with commercial software development life-cycle practices and source control tools such as GitHub.
  • Authorization to work in the United States throughout employment without employer sponsorship or an employer-filed immigration petition.
