Field Services Representative – R391 Propeller Systems | GE Aerospace (Florida Remote)

Support Dowty R391 composite propeller systems for GE Aerospace through customer technical assistance, aircraft maintenance, repairs, reporting, and global field service activities.

Description

  • Guide customers on the operation, maintenance, repair, logistics, and installation of GE products
  • Interpret technical data and deliver instruction at customer sites
  • Provide Project Engineering, Program Management, and Field Service leaders with timely updates on program status, customer issues, failures, trends, and operating conditions
  • Report program activities and issues regularly to Product Support and Field Service
  • Prepare reports, interpret market intelligence, and communicate sales opportunities for assigned programs
  • Help customers coordinate maintenance schedules and workloads
  • Support parts delivery in line with established schedules
  • Recommend actions based on technical findings
  • Evaluate maintenance effectiveness to identify training requirements
  • Anticipate future program needs and help implement appropriate solutions
  • Perform intermediate- and depot-level maintenance
  • Carry out hands-on repairs and maintenance on R391 Composite Propeller Systems and related components

Requirements

  • Associate degree or high school diploma/GED from an accredited institution
  • Willingness to travel to global destinations up to 60% of the time
  • Ability to lift at least 65 pounds
  • At least two years of extensive repair, conversion, maintenance, and repair experience on aircraft engine or propeller systems
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, or a high school diploma/GED plus at least four years of aviation experience in a field service or maintenance role
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership capabilities
  • Demonstrated analytical and continuous improvement mindset
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced operational setting
  • Ability to work effectively with all organizational levels, internally and externally
  • Ability to verify U.S. Person status for access to U.S. export-controlled information through lawful permanent resident, U.S. citizen, or asylee/refugee status
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States
  • Successful completion of a drug screen when applicable
  • Ability to participate in random and reasonable-suspicion drug and alcohol testing when required
