Human Resources Manager - Dallas, TX (Onsite)

Lead employee relations, HR programs, compliance, and investigations for Suntex Marinas in an onsite Dallas role. Partner with marina leaders to support assigned teams and address workforce needs.

Description

  • Support the performance of assigned direct-report teams.
  • Join field leadership discussions and help advance Suntex Marinas’ human capital strategy.
  • Explain HR policies, programs, procedures, employment laws, and regulatory requirements.
  • Mediate and resolve a high volume of employee relations matters.
  • Conduct detailed workplace investigations when needed.
  • Lead and reinforce HR programs, including recognition and training initiatives.
  • Work with senior regional and marina leaders to anticipate HR needs and address compliance matters.
  • Coordinate with the benefits team to support leave management.
  • Track and implement applicable federal, state, and local HR requirements.
  • Develop and manage conflict-resolution strategies.
  • Complete additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in human resources or a related field is required; comparable professional experience may be considered.
  • Four to six years of human resources experience is required.
  • Experience in California human resources is required.
  • SHRM certification is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of HR information systems is required.
  • ADP experience is preferred.
  • Ability to protect sensitive and highly personal information through strict confidentiality.
  • Knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local employment laws.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 15 pounds.
  • Ability to swim or willingness to wear a life jacket when visiting marina locations.
