Description

  • Submit accurate UB-04 institutional and CMS-1500 professional claims to commercial and government payers
  • Review and resolve claim edits, billing errors, clearinghouse exceptions, and rejections
  • Prepare corrected claims and confirm successful transmission to payers
  • Verify patient eligibility and address coverage or demographic discrepancies before submission
  • Work with insurers, patients, providers, and internal teams to resolve billing issues
  • Conduct billing reviews, post splint charges, and enter charges in the DOL and Claim Connect portals
  • Monitor claims-processing inboxes and follow up on unresolved clearinghouse responses
  • Use the Raintree EMR to resolve claim issues and document account activity
  • Meet productivity and quality standards while complying with HIPAA and applicable regulations
  • Keep current with payer policies and billing requirements
  • Handle additional duties and special projects as assigned

Requirements

  • At least three years of revenue cycle or medical billing experience
  • Strong working knowledge of UB-04 institutional and CMS-1500 professional billing
  • Experience working with commercial and government insurance payers
  • Proficiency with the Raintree EMR system
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities with close attention to detail
  • Ability to manage competing priorities independently and consistently meet productivity targets
  • Cross-functional revenue cycle experience is advantageous
  • Professional, collaborative, confidential, and customer-service-focused approach
