Government Compliance Manager – RTX (Maryland Remote)

Support RTX’s Collins U.S. Government Compliance Program through federal procurement research, contract compliance guidance, and cross-functional initiatives. This full-time remote role is based in Maryland and includes limited domestic travel.

Description

  • Operate and enhance the Collins U.S. Government Compliance Program with the U.S. Government Compliance team.
  • Advise business teams on prime contract and subcontract compliance matters.
  • Contribute to major U.S. Government compliance initiatives across the organization.
  • Research and interpret applicable U.S. federal procurement laws and regulations.
  • Help develop, maintain, and improve compliance guidance, procedures, processes, and performance metrics.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to resolve routine compliance questions and support related activities.
  • Create and maintain compliance reference materials, job aids, and playbook content.
  • Address internal questions concerning government contract compliance.
  • Contribute to special projects and other compliance initiatives.
  • Develop introductory compliance training and informational resources.
  • Complete limited domestic travel when required.

Requirements

  • A university degree with at least 8 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related discipline with at least 5 years of experience.
  • Background in U.S. Government contracting or a related regulatory environment.
  • U.S. citizenship.
  • Knowledge of federal procurement requirements, including FAR, DFARS, the Truthful Cost or Pricing Data Act, the Procurement Integrity Act, and the Defense Priorities and Allocations System.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and organizational communication skills.
  • Strong relationship-building and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
  • Experience supporting government contracts throughout their lifecycle, from formation through closeout.
  • Working knowledge of Truthful Cost or Pricing Data Act requirements.
  • Working knowledge of commercial products and services contracting procedures.
  • Basic understanding of cost and pricing principles or financial considerations in government contracting.
  • Willingness to complete limited domestic travel as needed.
