Global Virtual Card Payment Administrator

Lead NVIDIA’s worldwide virtual card payment program, covering supplier enablement, reconciliations, controls, bank integrations, and program growth across the Americas, EMEA, and APAC.

Description

  • Act as a virtual card payments specialist within NVIDIA’s global Accounts Payable organization in Santa Clara, California
  • Own the strategy, administration, expansion, and governance of the virtual card program across the Americas, EMEA, and APAC
  • Oversee card payment cycles, issuance, spending limits, and payment-file exchanges between SAP and issuing-bank platforms
  • Set the global supplier enablement approach by identifying eligible suppliers and conducting focused onboarding campaigns
  • Investigate and resolve supplier and bank issues involving declined, expired, or unprocessed cards, remittance challenges, and rejected payments
  • Complete daily and month-end reconciliations across entities and currencies, researching open items, foreign-exchange variances, refunds, and credits
  • Develop and oversee controls for unusual activity, duplicate payments, and suspected fraud, including dispute and recovery management
  • Monitor regional and entity-level program metrics, report findings to Finance leadership, and support accounting, rebates, accruals, and forecasts
  • Direct cross-functional payment initiatives with IT, Finance Systems, Treasury, Tax, Procurement, and regional Accounts Payable teams
  • Coordinate requirements definition, user acceptance testing, and cutover activities for payment configurations, system enhancements, and international deployments
  • Help maintain SOX compliance and audit preparedness through access reviews, segregation-of-duties checks, payment approvals, and control documentation
  • Coach Accounts Payable colleagues, create global procedures and supplier materials, and drive automation and process enhancements

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience
  • At least eight years of experience in Accounts Payable, payments, or treasury operations within a global, multi-entity organization
  • More than three years of experience coordinating a virtual card or commercial card program
  • Experience using virtual card platforms from major global or regional issuers, including Citi, HSBC, or American Express
  • Background in payment-file and remittance operations
  • Hands-on Coupa Pay experience covering virtual card and invoice-payment setup, payment runs, supplier enablement, and reconciliation
  • SAP integration experience is preferred
  • Knowledge of SAP payment runs, vendor master data, bank interfaces, and Accounts Payable reconciliation
  • Experience managing supplier enablement initiatives and cross-functional payment projects spanning multiple countries or regions
  • Knowledge of multicurrency and cross-border payments, disbursement controls, fraud prevention, and SOX requirements
  • Familiarity with country-level obligations such as VAT and local payment regulations
  • Advanced Excel skills and strong data-analysis capability
  • Practical use of AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, and Cursor in a finance or business setting
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
  • Willingness to accommodate deadlines across regions
  • SAP S/4HANA experience with payment-program configuration and bank integrations is preferred
  • Experience with payment automation, supplier payment networks, or reporting tools such as Power BI or SQL is preferred
  • Familiarity with card-network rules, interchange, and rebate-program structures is preferred
  • Additional-language proficiency, such as Mandarin or Hebrew, is preferred
