Description

  • Establish and lead a new partnership engineering organization
  • Convert complex technical partnership work into repeatable product features
  • Grow the team, prioritize initiatives, provide support, and foster a healthy team culture
  • Clear impediments and create the conditions for focused solution development
  • Lead the company’s most important partnerships and define the requirements for their success
  • Work with Product to turn product strategy into technical implementation
  • Maintain performant, reliable, and responsive applications
  • Protect code quality through reviews, testing, and automation
  • Manage the complete software lifecycle from design through deployment
  • Organize project roadmaps, timelines, and task assignments
  • Partner with Engineering, Product, Design, and external partners
  • Develop the team through hiring, onboarding, and mentorship

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience building and managing engineering teams
  • Proficiency in Python and at least one web framework, such as FastAPI, Django, or Flask
  • Proficiency in C#, Go, and TypeScript, plus at least one web framework
  • Experience designing or working with large-scale distributed systems
  • Background collaborating with cross-functional groups including Product, Design, and Business
  • Strong problem-solving skills with careful attention to detail
  • An ownership mindset and the ability to deliver products end to end
  • Excellent communication skills and a low-ego, team-oriented approach
  • Willingness or eligibility to work from the New York City office; the application form identifies the role as based there and mentions visa transfers and relocation assistance
