- Establish and lead a new partnership engineering organization
- Convert complex technical partnership work into repeatable product features
- Grow the team, prioritize initiatives, provide support, and foster a healthy team culture
- Clear impediments and create the conditions for focused solution development
- Lead the company’s most important partnerships and define the requirements for their success
- Work with Product to turn product strategy into technical implementation
- Maintain performant, reliable, and responsive applications
- Protect code quality through reviews, testing, and automation
- Manage the complete software lifecycle from design through deployment
- Organize project roadmaps, timelines, and task assignments
- Partner with Engineering, Product, Design, and external partners
- Develop the team through hiring, onboarding, and mentorship

- Demonstrated experience building and managing engineering teams
- Proficiency in Python and at least one web framework, such as FastAPI, Django, or Flask
- Proficiency in C#, Go, and TypeScript, plus at least one web framework
- Experience designing or working with large-scale distributed systems
- Background collaborating with cross-functional groups including Product, Design, and Business
- Strong problem-solving skills with careful attention to detail
- An ownership mindset and the ability to deliver products end to end
- Excellent communication skills and a low-ego, team-oriented approach
