Embedded Software Validation Engineer - Capgemini, Barcelona

Description
- Prepare, execute, and document embedded software tests
- Validate and verify software against functional and system requirements
- Design and automate test cases
- Execute tests on ECUs and HiL validation benches
- Analyze communications and diagnostics over CAN/LIN networks
- Identify, analyze, and track issues found during testing
- Collaborate with software and systems development teams in an R&D environment
- Contribute to automotive electronic product development projects
Requirements
- 2–3 years of experience in embedded software testing or validation, preferably in the automotive sector
- Experience working with ECUs and automotive electronic systems
- Knowledge of CAN and LIN protocols
- Experience with Vector tools, including CANoe, CANalyzer, CANdela, vTESTstudio, and Vector VT System or VTStudio
- Experience with HiL test benches
- Knowledge of CAPL
- Experience using Python for test automation
- Knowledge of C/C++
- Experience with UDS diagnostics
- English proficiency at B2 level or higher
- Knowledge of FlexRay is an advantage
- Experience with DOORS, Jira, and Git is an advantage
- Knowledge of Automotive SPICE (ASPICE) processes is an advantage
- Knowledge of ISO 26262 and functional safety is an advantage
- German language skills are an advantage
