Description

  • Monitor, assess and remediate vulnerabilities across applications, cloud workloads, containers, CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code repositories
  • Partner with SOC, Enterprise Security and Cyber Defence teams to address active and emerging threats through rapid technical remediation
  • Embed security tooling into CI/CD workflows, including container and secret scanning
  • Strengthen Terraform-based infrastructure-as-code security while maintaining compliance with security baselines and guardrails
  • Automate security validation and enforcement through policy as code, security scanners and cloud-native services
  • Contribute to threat modelling and secure solution design alongside engineering teams
  • Manage vulnerability workflows and drive remediation within defined risk and audit timelines
  • Configure and maintain cloud security controls covering IAM, key management, WAF, security groups, logging and monitoring
  • Create technical documentation, runbooks and remediation guidance for engineering teams
  • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to incorporate security into development standards
  • Establish and apply governance policies
  • Lower critical and high-risk vulnerabilities within agreed service-level targets
  • Advance security posture through cloud benchmarks, infrastructure-as-code scanning and automated policy compliance
  • Expand automation coverage to reduce manual remediation work
  • Maintain secure delivery pipelines by promoting scanning tools and blocking high- or critical-severity findings from reaching production
  • Achieve audit and compliance objectives without major DevOps or cloud-security findings

Requirements

  • Three to five or more years of practical experience in DevOps, platform engineering or DevSecOps
  • Strong software development capabilities for building security automation and remediation tools
  • Advanced Terraform infrastructure-as-code experience across AWS and Azure
  • Thorough knowledge of cloud security, identity and access management, network security and container security in AWS and Azure
  • Experience implementing and managing security controls
  • Sound understanding of CI/CD pipelines, including GitHub Actions
  • Hands-on vulnerability management and threat remediation experience, with collaboration across Security Operations and Cyber teams
  • Strong knowledge of modern application architectures
  • Ability to adapt to rapidly changing cloud technologies
