Turn complex supply-chain data into evidence-based narratives for Zero100’s research and advisory work. Support executive decision-making through structured analysis, clear visualizations, and actionable insight.

Description

  • Translate questions from customers, researchers, and senior analysts into structured analyses, clear conclusions, and practical recommendations.
  • Convert complex datasets into concise, insight-led narratives for executive audiences.
  • Define data requirements, collaborate with data engineering on pipelines, and manage transformation, analysis, and visualization within an assigned scope.
  • Uphold rigorous standards for analytical accuracy and communication clarity.
  • Examine both structured and unstructured inputs, including surveys, executive interview transcripts, operational data, and qualitative research notes.
  • Apply AI tools, including the internal LLM, to speed analysis while checking and improving the resulting outputs.
  • Work with research, design, and customer-facing colleagues to clarify stakeholder needs and produce dependable deliverables.
  • Develop new insights and avenues for investigation as the role expands.

Requirements

  • Bring 2–4 years of experience in data analysis, insights, or a related discipline, with evidence of—or strong potential for—turning data into narratives for senior audiences.
  • This role is not suited to candidates whose recent experience has focused primarily on building or maintaining dashboards, pipelines, or reporting infrastructure.
  • SQL proficiency is required; Python experience is advantageous, along with a willingness to work in platforms such as Databricks.
  • Demonstrated experience creating data visualizations and charts with Excel, PowerPoint, or analytical software.
  • Use AI-assisted analysis and workflow tools regularly, explain how AI has influenced your analytical methods, and ideally demonstrate projects built with AI beyond your professional work.
  • Think systematically and become increasingly comfortable working through ambiguity.
  • Collaborate effectively within a research team and a geographically distributed, matrixed organization.
  • Communicate exceptionally well in writing and conversation when presenting data and conclusions to senior or executive stakeholders.
  • Exposure to operations or supply-chain topics is helpful, while curiosity and rapid learning are valued more highly.
