Credit Controller (Six-Month FTC) – Dudley Hybrid

Description

  • Drive debt recovery and reduce debtor days against company targets
  • Manage customer accounts and collect outstanding balances
  • Own an assigned section of the ledger
  • Meet agreed collection targets
  • Produce reports on account performance
  • Control and monitor daily debt activity
  • Review cash allocations and recommend corrective action on assigned accounts when required
  • Escalate significant issues to the Team Leader or Credit Manager
  • Deliver a high standard of customer service
  • Resolve business queries within agreed timeframes
  • Complete ad hoc administrative tasks

Requirements

  • At least two years of experience in a collections environment
  • An ICM qualification is desirable
  • Capability to initiate and support continuous improvement
  • Ability to work within strict deadlines
  • Strong attention to accuracy
  • Advanced IT proficiency, including Microsoft Office and PivotTables
  • Knowledge of audit controls
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Willingness to complete a DBS check if required for the role
