Contract Management Analyst – New Jersey (Remote)

Analyze Managed Care contracts, reimbursement accuracy, financial models, and revenue leakage for a healthcare services organization. Support clients and leadership through contract validation, data analysis, and actionable financial insights.

Description

  • Enter Managed Care contracts into the Contract Management system
  • Regularly analyze and validate reimbursement outputs generated by the Contract Management system
  • Develop and review Managed Care models covering forecasting, data analytics, and system integrity
  • Assess outdated contract terms and potential revenue leakage, providing detailed feedback to internal and external clients
  • Build proficiency with the application and expand knowledge of the healthcare industry
  • Complete additional duties as assigned
  • Handle patients’ protected health information (PHI) in accordance with HIPAA requirements
  • Comply with Information Security and HIPAA policies and procedures
  • Access PHI only to the minimum extent required for assigned responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • At least three years of experience in healthcare financial analysis and Managed Care contracts or contract management
  • Ability to interpret governmental and commercial Managed Care contracts
  • Experience in revenue cycle management
  • Strong numerical ability and analytical skills
  • Adaptability in a fast-paced, changing work environment
  • Strong presentation capabilities
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including advanced Excel skills and the ability to turn large data files into executive summaries
  • Effective interpersonal communication across all organizational levels
  • Strong problem-solving and creative-thinking abilities, with sound judgment and decisions grounded in accurate, timely analysis
  • High integrity, reliability, urgency, and results-focused execution
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A smartphone or electronic device capable of downloading applications for multifactor authentication and security
  • Ability to follow instructions, collaborate, and manage stress
  • Ability to perform the role’s physical requirements, including moving around the work area, sitting, manual tasks, using computers and office equipment, extending arms, kneeling, speaking, and hearing
  • Understanding of and compliance with Information Security and HIPAA policies and procedures
  • Ability to restrict PHI access to the absolute minimum necessary for assigned duties
